Xiao Long Bao

After watching the japanese variety show, "超省时生活", i was inspired to make XLB.

There's actually JUICE FLOWING out!!

For a first timer, i think i have done quite well. haha! Taste wise, it can be improved on since i only used coffee pudding as the only seasoning by following the program :X 20 mins to get 8 steaming hot XLB is the trade off. I realized, to get more juice out of the XLB, i have to fill the skin with as much filling as possible.

Next, i want to try either rice cooker sponge cake: youtube recipe, or microwave chicken rice: URL. Recipes for the lazy! :) Before i end the post, here's the recipe link if you can understand phaasaa nippon: URL

Ingredient:
4 XLB skin/ready made dumpling skin
50g minced meat
1/2 coffee pudding
salt, pepper & ginger juice (according to taste)

- Mix seasonings and coffee pudding into meat
- Steam XLB for ~5-7 mins and serve!
