Life's a BEACH!

LAT1201 captain ball team! =) Life's a beach, own a piece of it! Amazingly, we got into quarter final! TOP 8 :) 高的矮的胖的瘦的, my team has it all!


Later in the evening, headed to queensway with k to get himself a badminton racket before we bought a bottle of sweet red for cheryl and her family. Dinner at cheryl was good but it's bloating! The amount of curry, and the sweet potato we had was way beyond a simple dinner and dessert affair.

Headed in to JB for supper, and once again, i showed the power of a HOLAND QUEEN :( We were driving rather aimlessly around JB trying to find Taman Sentosa even though we have have got directions from the staff at petrol kiosks. After looping around, we decided that the following a SG car plate was the safest way out. LOK LOK, abalone noodle, lime jelly drink all only came up to 7SGD per person :D Followed another SG car plate back to woodlands, KO a couple of mins on the car before i reached home and did a fatal KO. haha

Mail Box

I love receiving mails the traditional way :) The samples store items have finally arrived after one week of waiting. Can't wait to try out the items and purchase more cause i'm so lazy to move and receiving items via mail so just so much fun!!

2 pieces of 3D mask from love more and sexylook! Love more has such pretty packaging that i secretly put a pink heart shape right next to its logo, haha. Never heard of the brand from the eye cream, since the reviews from the sample store is so good, no harm giving it a try!

But, i really want to pay a visit to the facial salon soon! Body wellness or Allure. Still have got 2 eyelash perming session with the later :O

Planned a supper date with bby and it gave me the chance to attempt the 30 mins hainese chicken! I guess, we shouldn't follow the recipe too blindly cause my chicken was a tad overcooked. The voltage in US and in SG is totally different, i should have set the microwave power to just defrost for the whole 30mins instead of medium. The wings were rather dried up :S I hid it away!

Xiao Long Bao

After watching the japanese variety show, "超省时生活", i was inspired to make XLB.

The nicest looking pleated XLB

There's actually JUICE FLOWING out!!

For a first timer, i think i have done quite well. haha! Taste wise, it can be improved on since i only used coffee pudding as the only seasoning by following the program :X 20 mins to get 8 steaming hot XLB is the trade off. I realized, to get more juice out of the XLB, i have to fill the skin with as much filling as possible.

Next, i want to try either rice cooker sponge cake: youtube recipe, or microwave chicken rice: URL. Recipes for the lazy! :) Before i end the post, here's the recipe link if you can understand phaasaa nippon: URL

Ingredient:
4 XLB skin/ready made dumpling skin
50g minced meat
1/2 coffee pudding
salt, pepper & ginger juice (according to taste)

- Mix seasonings and coffee pudding into meat
- Steam XLB for ~5-7 mins and serve!
