Not too long ago, i was commenting on twitter that i was craving for some tang yuan and having the foodaholic spirit in me, it's a make it or buy it deal. Finally, got down to making ginger syrup tang yuan on sunday and it was yum max! Threw coconut sugar, slices of ginger, red dates, pandan leaves and rock sugar to achieve the spicy yet tingling sweet syrup. Kudos to mom for reminding me to add pandan leaves and rock sugar else the syrup would have 毁于一旦, so i went to our corridor and plucked the pandan leaves from the pot. If one day i ever need pandan leaves, calamansi or even aloe vera, i just need to pluck them from the pot. How convenient.
And then, it was the dumpling craze with my sis. Apparently, we order 140 dumplings in total but the delivery man sent us 200 instead and that's what happened to our fridge. Busted with dumplings and all the frozen stuff like meat, pau, jelly, seafood, ice cream, patty, royal jelly, herbal and the list goes on.
Bby gave me the reason that the weather was so hot that he refuses to drive to school to study -.-" I whatapp him with a picture attached stating that autumn is coming cause the tree leaves outside my window is changing color! The weather is actually kind of cooling :)
Masked today and i'm so going to stop using MBD unless i'm in a hurry or laziness kicks in. Turned to this powdered mask whereby you mix with water and it will harden up like jelly on your face after spreading and leaving on for 15-20 mins. It's slightly more expensive than MBD but i think it's really worth it and would be better if i bear to spare the extra 50 for rose water. Seriously, i think evian mineral water or even tap water would do the job since i still spam time capsule from HK after the mask. Sama sama lar.
